Our Story

We’ve loved every minute of our journey

John Frank began seriously riding at age 9 with the Pony Club at Pebble Beach Equestrian Center. Later he joined 4H and also became involved in showing, drill teams, parades and even a little rodeo exposure, as well as, a part time trail guide. In 1964 he worked under International Grand Prix Trainer, Kevin Freeman. As John’s talents and experience grew, he shared that knowledge as a Teaching Assistant under Ralph Carter at the University of California at Davis, while still competing successfully statewide on the A Circuit under numerous trainers. John studied at Chico State University and completed his education at the Morven Park International Equestrian Institute in Leesburg, Virginia.

In the late ‘70’s John became interested in the Arabian breed. With his successful and varied background, he was able to compete successfully in Hunt Seat, Saddle Seat, Western Pleasure, Driving, Halter, Working Cow Horse and Endurance with this magnificent breed and produced many Champion Horses and Riders.

He has a history that spans 50+ years and every step of the way has been marked by a commitment to excellence.
